Anchormen Ballot Proposition
By: Melanie Platt

The Anchormen are proposing a change in the U.S. capitol by moving it’s location to San Diego. The Anchormen believe that by shifting the location, it will be more accessible for Asian trade to progress and grow in our country. While easily accessible for trade, the change of location will also be helpful towards a stronger defense against North Korea, and has a better location for more control against illegal immigration. The Anchormen have presented their proposition in a well-written, well-mannered style. It might be confusing as to whether or not moving the capitol will complicate America, or help America.
The Dirty 530 feel as though moving the capitol to San Diego will only add more to our deficit, and complicate our country. There is no actual need to move the capitol, we have plenty of protection on the west coast as is. Our nation accomplishes tons of trade from Asian countries as well and are concerned how much moving the capitol will actually help. Many people are concerned with how the Anchormen plan on finding the funding for this shift of location. Since America is already in debt, the Dirty 530 wonder if now is really the time to change the place of our capitol. Moving the capitol will only add to our deficit, and realistically we do not have the money to support this drastic change of location. Our country is able to trade with Asian countries even without the change of the capitol. This move would affect the jobs and citizens of Washington D.C. This would also create a more crowded condensed San Diego. We do not endorse this change of capitol. We feel as though it will lessen America’s value and financial situation even more than it already is. America is trading successfully with Asian countries already, and is dealing with border patrol fine as is. There is no need to move the capitol.

Idiotic.
            Right Winged.
                        Uneducated information.
Anchormen.
The bolded words above are the words we use to describe the infamous economic advisor, Brian Fantana and his group. The monetary policy for the Anchormen that Mr. Fantana shared with the public simply shows how conservative the Anchormen party truly is, and how uncaring for the environment they are as well. Their policy consists of lowering environment restrictions in order to allow mining and drilling in previously protected areas. Their plan is also to lower pollution restriction in order for new businesses to be more successful. Their claimed reasoning behind lowering these restrictions is that it will help create more products and jobs. Little do they care, it has a negative effect on our environment.
Mr. Fantana also covered his party’s plan for improving our economy. In his words, “there will be a change in strategy.” The change in strategy will consist of cutting taxes, cutting entitlements, repealing Obama Care, increased funding for our defense, and powering our country!
Choosing to be right winged, the Anchormen are planning on cutting taxes on the rich. As Mr. Fantana stupidly assumed most of the richer citizens are executives of major companies. Thus leading to the conclusion if the rich have more money, then they will be able to hire more people, thus creating more jobs. But is most of the richer population made up of CEO’s of companies? That is a statistic I am not fully knowledgeable of, but I do know, that not all of the wealthier run or are a part of major companies.

The Anchormen are supporting everything that is rightly republican.  They feel very strongly about repealing public health care, and cutting Obama Care fully! They feel strongly about Obama Care because they have predicted a higher debt than ever if we actually stick with Obama Care. Anchormen have also decided that they are going to cut the amount of money being spent on entitlements. For example, welfare and food stamps, this is because the Anchormen feel as though the people receiving these entitlements will not try and find employment because they are already barely slipping by with government funding. With these two cuts, the money from entitlements will go to advancements in technology and to fuel. With more money focus towards fuel, offshore drilling/drilling on federal land, and lowering environmental restrictions, all of this will create tens of thousands of new jobs.

Are the Anchormen Ready?
In my opinion Anchormen might be ready. The strongest part currently is their plan to cut down on entitlements. Their weakest parts? Lowering the restrictions for pollution and the environment. Mr. Fantana strongly supported his party’s stances on Tuesday, February 4th when presenting/justifying his information to the public. To sum up everything, Brian Fantana did a good job explaining his party’s stances on their plan to help the economy, their plans for taxes, along with explaining how to fix our debt. From his presentation his numbers and logistics seemed reasonable.
